Bellows collects no data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and makes no network connections. Nothing you do in the app leaves your device.
Bellows remembers a few settings in its own preferences on your iPhone: the instrument you chose, the mirrored layout, the rock-to-pump switch, and whether the welcome and the air hints have been shown. Deleting the app deletes them. We have no access to them.
Bellows never uses the microphone or the camera, and never asks for access to them. A take you record captures the screen and the app's own sound only.
On an iPhone without a hinge, Bellows reads the motion sensors while the instrument is on screen, so that rocking the phone pumps the bellows. You can turn this off in Options. On iPhone Duo, Bellows reads the hinge angle in the same way. These readings are used on the device as you play and are never stored or sent.
Recording starts only when you tap REC. A recorded take is handed to the iOS system preview sheet. You decide whether to save it to your Photos library or share it, and if you close the preview without doing either, Bellows asks before the take is discarded. Bellows does not upload, copy or keep recordings, and they are not sent to us or to anyone else. If you share a recording, it goes where you choose to send it, under that service's own terms.
Bellows contains no third-party SDKs and shares no information with third parties. It does not track you across apps or websites.
Bellows is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details.
Bellows collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If this privacy policy changes, we will update the effective date above.
