How this works

Paste a review link straight from your Google Business Profile, or a Place ID, and this tool resolves it into one canonical review URL. Only links on Google's own review-facing hosts are accepted (Business Profile short links, Google Maps, and the official write-review URL), and a Place ID is checked against the shape Google documents for one. Anything else is rejected with a plain reason, so this tool cannot be used to print a QR code that quietly points somewhere else.

The QR code itself is drawn in your browser: a small library turns the resolved link into a grid of dark and light squares, and this page builds the on-screen code from that grid directly, as SVG shapes, only after you generate one. Downloading gives you the SVG (for the sharpest result printed at any size) or a PNG rendered from the same grid onto a canvas.

When to ask

The best time is right after a job is done, while the experience is still fresh, either in person with the printed card or in the same message that confirms the work is finished. A short follow-up a few days later catches the people who meant to leave one and forgot. Asking every customer, every time, for every purchase reads as pressure rather than a request, so most businesses ask after a completed job, not on every interaction.

How do I get my Google review link?

Open your Google Business Profile, choose "Ask for reviews" (sometimes called the share review form), and copy the link it gives you. Paste that link above and this tool builds the QR code and short link from it.

What is a Place ID and where do I find mine?

A Place ID is Google's own identifier for your business listing. If you cannot find your review link, search for your business in Google Maps or your Business Profile and look for the Place ID, or use Google's Place ID Finder tool. Paste the id above and this tool builds the official review URL for you.

Can I print this QR code, or is it only for screens?

Both. Download the SVG for the sharpest result at any size, for a sign, a table tent, or a vehicle decal, or download the PNG for quick digital use, for example on a receipt or in an email signature.

Does this tool store my business information?

No. The QR code, the link, and the templates are all built in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server or stored anywhere.
