An assistant for the Claude desktop app that works your Housecall Pro account, so you can ask about customers, jobs, estimates, invoices and the schedule in plain English, and have it create or update records after you say yes. It works on any Housecall Pro plan, not only MAX.

The kind of thing you would normally click through five screens for, or ask the office to look up.

Every change, like a new customer, job, estimate, note or reschedule, waits for you to say yes first, and every change is logged.

Any Housecall Pro plan
On your computer
The assistant installs in the Claude desktop app on your Mac or Windows computer and works Housecall Pro in a browser window you sign in to yourself, the way you would. Because it uses the normal Housecall Pro screens, it works on any Housecall Pro plan.

MAX plan only
On your phone too
If you are on the MAX plan, it can also use the Housecall Pro API, so you can ask from Claude or ChatGPT on your phone. Email me after setup and I will send you a personal connection key for that.

How setup works
You do it yourself, with Claude guiding you. No call, no terminal.

Buy it and download
Checkout takes a minute. The page after payment gives you your licence key and a download button for one file.

Double-click the file
Claude opens and asks to install the Housecall Pro assistant. Click Install and paste your licence key when it asks. No terminal, nothing else to install.

Type: set up Housecall Pro
Start a new chat in Claude and ask it to set up Housecall Pro. A browser window opens on Housecall Pro and you sign in there yourself. It never sees your password.

It checks itself, then hands over
It runs a read-only check of the main screens, which changes nothing, tells you when it is ready, and does one real lookup you choose so you can see it work. About 10 minutes in all.
You need: A Mac or Windows computer, the Claude desktop app signed in to a paid Claude plan, and your own Housecall Pro login. Any Housecall Pro plan works.

Which Housecall Pro plan do I need?
Any plan works on your computer. Using it from your phone as well needs the MAX plan. The connector needs the Housecall Pro MAX plan, because that is the plan that includes API access, and an Admin user to create the key.
Do I need to be technical?
No. You double-click one file and then talk to Claude in plain English. It walks you through the rest and tells you what it is doing at each step.
What if it does not work for me?

Can it change things in my account without me knowing?
Every change, like a new customer, job, estimate, note or reschedule, waits for you to say yes first, and every change is logged. If you only want answers, choose a Read-only key and it cannot change anything at all.
Does it see my Housecall Pro password?
No. You sign in to Housecall Pro yourself in a browser window on your own computer. The assistant never asks for, types or stores a password. If you later add phone access on the MAX plan: You enter your Housecall Pro key once, on a one-time secure page on stephenthorn.com, never in a chat. It is stored encrypted and only used to answer your own requests. Choose Read-only unless you want it making changes. You can revoke it at any time from Housecall Pro or by asking me.
Claude or ChatGPT?
The assistant runs in the Claude desktop app, which needs a paid Claude plan. Phone access on the MAX plan works with either Claude or ChatGPT.
Is this made by Housecall Pro?
No. On your computer it works the normal Housecall Pro screens in a browser window you sign in to yourself, which is why any plan works. On the MAX plan it can also use Housecall Pro’s public API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Housecall Pro.
What if I want to stop?
Your Housecall Pro account and your Claude or ChatGPT account stay in your name. If you stop, you delete the key and nothing else changes.
