Common questions before you book

Which service should I start with?

Start with the free 20-minute call. You tell me what's going on — with leads, your team, or ongoing AI support. I'll tell you which service fits, or whether none of them do. No slide deck, no sales pitch.

Do you offer fixed-price engagements or hourly?

Fixed-price for everything above. You know the number before we start. Custom engagements are scoped up front into a fixed fee.

What's the difference between a Team Session and a Workshop?

A Team Session is 1–2 hours focused on one specific skill or tool — no special prep, book anytime. A Workshop is up to a half-day, fully custom to your team's tools and workflows. Workshops require advance notice because I build the curriculum around your business.

What does the Partner tier include?

The Async tier gives you Slack or email access for prompt requests, tool questions, and quick reviews — answered within 24 hours on business days. The Active tier adds a monthly video call and one workflow update per month. Both are month-to-month.

Is there a contract for the Partner tiers?

No. Both tiers are month-to-month. Cancel any time.

How is this different from hiring an AI agency?

Agencies usually charge $10K+ per month, require long contracts, and assign junior people to the actual work. I work directly with you, charge per engagement, and don't do anything we can't finish in weeks.

Do you resell any AI tools?

No. I don't get paid by any AI vendor. If ChatGPT is the right answer for you, I'll say so. If Claude, Gemini, or a local tool is a better fit, I'll say that instead.

Can we do this in person?

Yes, in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle (including Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Pittsboro). Everywhere else is remote over Zoom.
